Pixar is due to release a new dinosaur movie in a couple years! Official synopsis: What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? This hilarious, heartfelt and original tale is directed by Bob Peterson (co-director/writer, “Up;” writer, “Finding Nemo”) and produced by John Walker (“The Incredibles,” “The Iron Giant”).
I’m a postgraduate student and I have recently realised my calling in life is to include images of dinosaurs as a way to help explain complex theories in every presentation I give. Currently, I’m looking for an image of a large herd of herbivore dinosaurs, grazing or traveling together for safety - bonus points for predatory dinosaurs to the side of the image somewhere, looking for weaknesses to exploit. (The talk is on privacy, Big Data and marginalisation.)
Anyway, I first wanted to share a few great images I found during my search, by user AIRt on deviantART.
Secondly, I wondered if anyone out there could recommend an image that might suit my very specific needs above: herd of dinosaurs together for safety - and just general awesomeness. (Yes, even if they’re not ‘real’ dinosaurs!)
Thanks for listening. Hope you enjoy the links!
Soooo after trolling through our archives I was able to find this, this, and this. Hopefully one of them is of use to you! If anyone else has other suggestions, do let us know!
As far as I know, no living human has ever saw a living dinosaur in real life, so what would be the only ways for living people like us to see living dinosaurs? Would it be movies and TV shows, artwork, and especially the human imagination?
