I don't know if you're the right person to ask about this, but recently I've noticed that artists have started to draw these weird hair-like things on the backs of dinosaurs in the Ceratopsia suborder, like Psittacosaurus and the Ojoceratops you just posted. I've tried to search what they are but I still haven't gotten an answer. Do you know anything about it?
Oddly enough, I sort of do! There is speculation that they had quills on their backs. A quick Google search of “ceratopsian quills” should definitely lead you to articles on the matter! If any followers have any more knowledge on this, please feel free to send us an ask or submit a link!
