Fuck Yeah, Dinosaur Art! - Technically, that drawing of the t-rex wasn’t historically inaccurate, because the word “historically” refers to the time periods which written history addresses. Obviously, the time of dinosaurs (not to mention early humans) predates history, so it’s completely meaningless to call that art *historically* inaccurate. But given the style and the mood of the art, I don’t think it was going for accuracy anyway. It just seems like a fun and silly drawing to me.

Some people sure do know how to take the fun out of everything. First of all, it was the artist that referred to it as “historically inaccurate” in their post, not us. Second, if they had not referred to it as “inaccurate” we would have instead received four messages about how dinosaurs did not live at the same time as humans AND HOW DARE THIS BLOG SUGGEST OTHERWISE WHY DO YOU HATE SCIENCE.

Third, to the person who really had qualms with the nipples and belly button because dinosaurs are not mammals, we really hope you didn’t lose any sleep over it.
